I picked this up yesterday and have some questions! I've found it was made in 1927. 16 ga Bores are bright and shiney with no pitting, barrels are clean with no dents or bulges. She lock up tight too! I know this was the lower end of the shotgun line made by Ithaca but i've heard they are very servicable guns.
What type of ammo can i use in my new toy? I'm thinking steel shot a no-no? Also the undersides of the barrels are marked 2 and 4....choke info for full and modified? Am i correct in assuming 2 is modified and 4 is full, or is it the other way around?
