Replacement, I sold a Miroku just like the one you described: Straight/splinter/DT/CC receiver. Looked for all the world like a very basic Birmingham BLNE. Factory choked IC/IM. Hell of a pheasant gun. And I do kick myself for selling that one.
Saw a BSS a couple years back that had been converted to DT. Probably should've bought it. But then, like several people have said, the Miroku Dalys are essentially the same gun, already have the DT, and are a good bit cheaper than the guns that say Browning on them.
My main issue with the BSS is that it's too heavy. True even of the 20ga Sporters. They weigh about what a 12ga game gun should.
