I did a Winig rough cut stock for a gun about a year ago and it wasn't hard at all. The gun I did has a through bolt so I did not need to make a stock vise. With your Fox I would suggest making a stock vise to pull the stock to the action. Getting the forend right will probably take more time to get fit right than the stock.
