I purchased my Win Model 21 'Duck' 32" from a guy that just could not bear to take it into a blind with him. My fortune, his misfortune.
We have had a lot of rain in SE Wisconsin and the fields are very soft to the point where I can't even drive my Volvo XC without a chance of getting stuck. On the other hand we have some nice pot holes. Yesterday was 44F, light rain/mist and low ceiling. My son and I did switch to 870 pumps because we knew everything was going to be wet and muddy. The switch was not to avoid cosmetic damage but just to avoid cleaning and relubing doubles.
There are sometimes that a good 870 excels!-Dick
