My name is Andy and I am new to double guns (or any shotguns for that matter). I have been eyeing a couples of shotguns (hamerless and hammer) from Thad's and will initiate a purchase soon. Firstly, I am looking for a competent double gunsmith/FFL dealer in the Washington D.C/Northern Virginia area who can exam the guns for me. Please let me know if you have a favorite gunsmith that can examine damascus barrels in this area. Secondly, I am soliciting your advice on questions to ask Thad regarding hammer guns before I spend the money for inspections. Thank you all in advance for all your help. Andy
