Watching the last of the red hot embers of the Christmas fire go to cold ash, put a chill in the air, even with a mug of warm mulled cider in my hands. What am I going to do now? All fall long I shot & hunted, almost every weekend. Got to gear back a little I guess, but also have a few things planned too - they'll be a couple of goose hunts in January and maybe a crow or two mixed in...but thats about it. The excitement of Labor Day's openings is long gone. Going into the dead of winter calls for your favorte guns to be brought out once again, this time by the fireplace. Prolly my favorite time with the F Beesley, and what a perfect time to wax it - with the smell of burning oak through-out the house. Its going to be dark cold times ahead lads!
