Hi,
I have been told that L. Bernard (or the firm) made barrels to 1890, I have a french bar in the wood sidelock (hammerless) with L. Barnard Barrels and they are steel not Damascus.

Hi,
It does not say Acier or anything else. It is a 4lb15oz 20ga with 28" barrels.

Thanks for the L. Bernard info, also under LePaige I saw the same articulated forend as on my gun, I had only seenone before on a special Fox in DGJ.

I can't really see the mark just forward of the barrel flats...but it looks alot like the Poldi trademark that was also used by Jean Falla...could you please show a close up of that mark?

Here is the Poldi trademark for comparison
