I think that your memory is fine. I have seen many Aubrey and a very few Meridens. I, also, have never seen cocking indicators.
But, we all know that most anything could be ordered if the price was right.
It would be interesting to know what Russ would have said about this. He seemed to think that the Meriden was a tad below an Elsie and a tad above a Crescent in general design and quality.
I seem to remember that he owned a high grade Meriden but do not remember his ever having mentioned cocking indicators.
