Like the others, I'm sure glad to have the best site back. But I've found two things so far that I can't figure out. When I click on a topic it automatically takes me to the last post I had read, even if that ain't where I want to go, even to a different page. How do I disable this? I'm sure it's right in front of me, but I don't see it and can't find it. Also on the old site we had "Other useful info" where we could look up serial #s and such, can't find that one either. This stuff is probably right in front of me, but my wife will also tell you I can look right at something and not see it. (she doesn't understand selective sight ) Somebody please help me, before Rabbit gets on here and makes a total (bigger) fool of me, PLEASE! Curtis edited for spelling

Now Curtis, I never took no superior attytood altho sometimes this would be a good place to take one as some are available for the asking. I'm getting my sealegs too. When we get all the furniture in place, I still want to see that grade 4 Flusie. I've been looking at all the auction pix I can find and finally found a 16 ga. with engraving that looks like mine except I can't find any with such a sorry ringneck pigeon as I got. Take care.

Oh man Jack, How far is it to Delaware? I've been setting here looking through Walt's book "Ithaca........From The Beginning" and I can't find a grade 3 Flusie to compare with. Mine does not have the same engraving as the grade 4 in Walt's book, not even close really. In fact, I can't find engraving like mine has anywhere in the book.(???)Not the exact pattern, and especially all over it. So, I guess we're gonna have to meet half way so you can look at it, then if you can show me a picture like it in the book I'll have to let ya poke me in the snoot! (Where's them smiley things?) Maybe someday one of the kids, or grandkids, can show me how to take a picture with a digital camera and post it. Curtis

Curt, here's a 20 ga at GA that's stated to be a 3E. I wish I could cut loose the $90 for The Ithaca Gun Co. I'll be darned. I couldn't find the old image option so I just typed in the bracket-image-bracket and bracket-foreslash-image-bracket and the picture came up on preview. O happy day. Where's the old options like BOLD and Quote, etc.? jack

Jack, That's it! Even the dogs on the sides are the same, Pointer on the left and a Setter on the right. The trigger plate on mine has way more coverage though, and has a pot-bellied duck on the trigger plate instead of a quail like the 20 has. The checkering pattern on the wood is the same, and the fore-end release is the same too. If anybody else is following along and wants a look-see without hunting for it, here it is: http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976782704.htmThe 20 ga doesn't show the trigger guard, or the top area to see if they are the same, or nearly at least, but Jack has found the engraving pattern. Thankee most kindly! Curtis

Curt, all that color kills the chiseling but I guess those are Chambered Nautili? How do you know your gun is grade 4 rather than 3? I'm getting confused about choke nos. and grade nos. And suddenly you're the pinball wizard with the photos. You wouldn't be yanking my chain with that puterilliturt stuff?

Jack, It has a 4 above 12 on the water table, also a 4 on the fore-end iron. I didn't remember it but this one doesn't have the choke numbers stamped on the bbl flats. Serial # is still there, and stamped deep and clear. Whaddaya mean wizard with the photos? I just copied and pasted the address from the other site. I was showed how to do that, but don't know how to post pictures. I sure enough ain't yanking your chain. If I could show pictures it would be a lot easier than this two-fingered typing I'm doing! Mine don't have that good of case colors to interfere with the chisel marks either, scratching shows up real good on mine. hehe! Curtis

Mine has 4s all over the water table and Brit proofs but you knew that. Metric markings on the barrels also which I guess may have obliterated the choke marks. I have been assured that the swamped rib barrels are original. Walt Snyder says for weight savings. Redbirds best thing on the tube tonite. jack
