I have handled them and found a wide range in weight to be present. Other than weight differences I find them a very nice modern assembly line shotgun. I find the older 409,424, and the 625/626 to have more appeal to me. I would also be looking for a 28" barrel. I have a 625 in 20ga and 26" barrels that I really have to concentrate on for follow through. It is a little too light for me. The new 471 is pretty spendy. Take a look at the auction sights as well as the board advertisers and you will see a wide range from low $2400 to high at $3700.
