I haven't quite decided on whether to make a multi-piece rib or one piece hollow channel like the original "Single Sigthing Plane" rib it had. One solution is to make a 'filler' plate that just fills the extremely wide area (about 3-4" long) then put a more normal rib on top. Another is to make a base/post/top rib assembly ventrib.
Kirk Merrington suggested starting with a Fox style rib with the flared base, but I don't like that rib style and the muzzle end needs to be very narrow for the 28g barrels with the back end being the area needing to be extraordinarily wide. Probably gonna be scratch built.
