I didn't mention that the gun is a little loose with the forend off. Also there is some damage to the forend that has been repaired with what looks to be the same material used to repair the trigger guard - you can see a bit of this in the 5th picture.

Is there any chance that if the barrels are all original and haven't been messed with that the gun could be worth more with such rare chokes?

I'm not sure how to interpret some of the feedback, but I feel like some of you may have a hard time dropping $1000 on this piece and I'm beginning to feel the same way. Would it be logical to use the gun as a shooter in its current condition?

As Dig would say regarding the hingepin(or whatever is making it loose): "It's not going to get any better." If the barrels are in good shape, I would get an estimate on correcting the looseness and weigh my options. Regaring the barrels: I have seen a couple of sets with the same chokes. A horn blank usually can be purchased from the German Gun Collectors Association. And they usually have a reference who can fit it, if need be. Also, Galazan has the blanks if I am not mistaken.

Kind Regards,

Raimey
