To the point above inre. to improving what you can legally own. Great improvements have been made in slug shooting shotguns over the last 50 years. I expect this has been primarily due to meet the needs of those living in States where it isn't legal to hunt deer with a rifle. When I was a kid smooth bores and "Punkin Balls" were the order of the day for deer hunting. Rifled slugs were a revolutionary technology at that time!
