I've been using AI since it became available for free usage and it has really helped with a lot of things. I've managed to do a number of jobs that I could not have done without it. It's also given me some bad answers.
Just last week, I could not get the Maps card for Garmin fishfinder to update on my computer. I first tried to get Gemini to help me and nothing it suggested would work. I finally got disgusted and gave up.
The next day I asked Grok and it gave me a long answer with 4 or 5 different things to try. I told it to start over, give me one step to try, and I would do it and report back and then we could move to the next step. It took about 30 minutes with me typing in commands to my computer that I didn't understand at all, but the problem was eventually solved and I was finally able to download the data. I would have never gotten it to work on my own.
Another time I ran into a terrible traffic jam on an interstate, and I asked Gemini what was going on and what was my best way around it. It gave me information that related to construction that had long been completed and it's solution was terrible. You have always gotta use some common sense in considering the information it gives you.
