Raimey, I have used both Borderview and IRUNGUNS for moving shotguns across the border. I preferred Borderview because although it was a bit more expensive, they were much better at making the mandatory engraving of importer small and discreet. IRUNGUNS not so much.
Most people I know in the vintage gun world use Borderview. Zero experience with ammo. As SKB alluded to, price can be prohibitive but the more you are buying, the better the cost averaging makes it look. Just buy a ton!

I have also used both companies. IRUNGUNS mandatory engraving sticks out horribly. Never again. BORDERVIEW is easy to work with, professional, and markings are so discreet you hardly notice.
I say call them and find out what they would charge.
