Kutter Sidelock Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 1,972 Likes: 286	Speed's book on Mausers places that ser# in 1914 for Sporter production. Admittedly they are estimates, but he has #78238 as the earliest in 1914 and #79998 as the latest in 1914. No breakdown by month/mfg.
