I submitted a picture to the current Ugartechea company, and they responded by saying it was a Parker Hale, model 30E.
It does not say Parker Hale anywhere, but I did read that at one point they stopped adding the Parker Hale name to them.
It is an ejector model. The Model 30s I see have different engraving, so I am still not sure if that is correct. TY
I have a Parker Hale Uggie that was imported by a dealer in Greensboro North Carolina, the name of which has long ago left my memory bank. It is a 12 gauge with 28 inch barrels and straight English stock. This is the very gun that got me BACK into double guns way back in 1993 when I picked it up from Ron Petersons here in Albuquerque. I have taken it to South Dakota chasing wild pheasants on several occasions. It is non ejector box lock with no engraving or frills, but a good shooting and handling gun nonetheless. If I remember correctly these no frills model 30s, Parker Hale or not marked, could be had used for around $600 or so depending upon condition. As I said, this one got me back into double guns and it is a keeper.
