Much advancement & strict attention to detail could be found among the mechanics in the Empire/Bohemia. I failed to mention a couple prominent mechanics who were influential across the Empire. Namely, Anton Vincenz Lebed who was considered one of the Best. And a true stickler for detail was Joh. Kalezky, who hung out his gunmaking shingle in 1845. He was the source point for Alexander Henry's platforms for the Empire, located in Wien, which was the premier location for luxury items made exclusively for the Imperial Court, Nobility & Military Officials.
Also, the Sodia family of gunmakers were displaced from Slovenia to Ferlach, as were several other gunmaker families, where they became the core craftsmen to produce upper rung offerings.
