I ended my last Post by again mentioning the Cancel Culture the Left has long used here to both discredit and silence their opponents. I am not the only one they have tried to silence by calling for Moderation, Bans, and encouraging others to IGNORE.
Anyone they can convince to IGNORE one of their opponents is a person who will never again see that persons point of view, good, bad or ugly. I've come close to IGNORING a few here, but never IGNORED a single person, no matter how ignorant, bombastic, or retarded. I've been thinking that I should IGNORE Princess SKB Stevie, just so I can delete a few PM's, and not immediately have it refilled with vulgar SPAM PM's from her. Then I could once again get PM messages from normal people. But I would still toggle the IGNORE function to see what sort of crap she is still posting, and I would still respond to it.
Note the several times the two-faced James Canvasback has called for me to be banned here. He bravely made multiple Posts calling for me to be banned after I got that 30 day suspension as a result of repeatedly "Notifying A Moderator' and making responses to a Doxxing attack. James had only started asking that I should be banned right after I responded to him Posting that PM I had sent terminating our friendship. He very desperately wished to shut down and end my response because he certainly did not want anyone to know why I did it. He also had a complete melt-down and denied everything I said, even though I had the receipts. I had (and still have) the email asking me to blue barrels for him, etc., at the very same time he was IGNORING my Posts and increasing his personal attacks. He lied when he said we laughed and joked about that, and he still lying about it now by saying I'm making it all up. Why would I ever laugh or find that even a bit amusing? He changed, but I didn't. If his cohorts hadn't pushed so hard for the Misfires Forum to be shut down and then deleted entirely, anyone would be able to compare Posts made by either of us, and see how they did or did not evolve over time.
Doug, PA24 certainly noticed the change, and told me in a PM that he felt it was a Canadian thing... the mamby-pamby attitude of just going along to get along. He told me it drove him crazy when dealing with Canadians during his military service. I've always felt Doug would have been appalled if he lived to see the day that James would actually team up with Princess SKB and coddle Liberals so much.
I briefly mentioned that jOe had been more astute than me in seeing the swing to embrace the Left by James, and he said so, frequently calling out our "Canooker". This angered James big-time, and it got to the point that James made attacks on jOe in a large number of Posts. He also started frequently demanding that Dave should ban jOe. I mentioned that a number of times, and of course, that angered him even more, and his attacks on me became more frequent and biting. I have a fairly thick skin, and put up with it for way too long. But I do not recall, and I think you would be very hard pressed to find a Post made by James calling for me to be banned until after I respond to him posting the "Go F*CK Yourself" PM I had sent him.
I sent it as a PM because I wanted it to be Private. I terminated our friendship, and that was that as far as I was concerned. I really hoped we could go our separate ways. James didn't reply to that PM privately, he Posted it in the Main DoubleGun forum as a Thread for all to see. James was the one who wanted to bring it front and center, and go off the rails with accusations that I and I alone was destroying the forum, and should be banned. Nobody else was at fault... nobody else was name calling, insulting, or making personal attacks. The Doxxing and Offline mail and phone threats were a non-issue.
So I responded as I did, and added that anyone who made the mistake of trusting this backstabber would be a fool. Of course, the best way to stop me from telling the details, aside from claiming it didn't happen that way, was to try to get me permanently banned. And when I got that 30 day ban after responding to Doxxng, nobody made more Posts afterward calling for me to be banned. Not Argo, not Princess SKB, not anybody. My two-faced former friend couldn't say it enough.
That's why I Posted previously that I don't attack everyone and anyone without cause or reservation as Argo44 claims. I mentioned that I've never had a clash or engaged in any attacks or vitriol with Ted, Stan, Lloyd, or very many others here. We may not always agree, but never shared a cross word between us. I said that before James did. I also made the point that I had some clashes that were misunderstandings with other guys that got a bit ugly, but were resolved, and we remain friends. But guess who I was thinking of when I said there were others where the relationship would never be the same. Never. As they say... Fool me once...
It's been quite a while since I even mentioned that clash. I had no OCD need to continue to try to warn others about him. I've seen Ted suggest they should get together for a hunt, and never commented. I don't try to pick other people's friends, even when I think it could be a mistake. It was over for me, and I was happy to just let it go. But since James saw another pile-on happening here, and bravely decided to jump on the pile after the tackle was made, I figured a little context was necessary.
Once more a whole lot of conjecture presented as fact to support his ridiculous positions.
My problem with Keith is based on one thing and one thing only. He is an obnoxious bully. That wasn’t readily apparent years ago but came more clear as time passed. That, and only that, is why my opinion of Keith changed.
And once again I call bullshit on you using a dead man to try to pin your conjecture on me. It’s revolting that you’d do that. I know the relationship I had with Doug.
It’s just laughable that you’d use jOe’s comments to try to bolster your position. He was another obnoxious poster here. There have been remarkable few of them but you and jOe are at the top of the list. My suggestion that both of you be ejected had nothing to do with cancel culture and everything to do with both of you being pricks.
Cancel culture would suggest I disagree with your positions. You know I don’t. So using your logic, you are a bald faced liar as well as an internet bully.
