Many of you have been anxious for the Parker site to be back online. John has been at the mercy of the fiber installation crews and was informed yesterday that it might be the end of August when they get to his home to finish the installation. Moving to a new location has its challenges, installation crews should not be one of them. We had almost 3 months last Fall without services at our business. Please be patient.

I'm with you on this Mike!

I've been checking into the PGCA site daily for years now and miss it, but I also totally understand the situation and feel the least I can do is give John the grace of my patience after all the great work he has done over the years for building & maintaining that site.

Many of the Parker members also own other makers guns, one of which is AH Fox. The Fox site is up and running and is always ready to discuss your Fox, Parker, Lefever, Smith or Euro gun. Hope to see you there. We also have Researcher in attendance for those questions only he can answer. Make sure to check out the card of the month posted each month by Dave aka Researcher.

Harry, you’re still a PITA. Instead of commenting and proving your ignorance, keep quiet so those that don’t know you personally won’t think badly of you.

In another thread Harry claims to have no ill will towards the Parker site or any member of it, except the admistrator.

After reading this, every one who believes that send me a dollar.

One of the best things about the PGCA forums are they do an effective job keeping the caterwaulers out.

Is there a legacy/continuation/contingency plan for the website to survive something more serious than waiting for a fiber optic line install? A prolonged absence of the PGCA website would be very detrimental to the PGCA. This hiccup could be the ghost of Christmas yet to come.

John had been doing a good job as the admin but when this is all said and done I hope the Parker Board will use a problem solving model to look at this web site outage for learnings and for future vulnerabilities.

To my understanding the Parker site is still not up and running.

Am I correct?

Come here for counseling and guidance and you will get thru the hard times. But the word on the street is, you may be getting
a ''Refund'' on your yearly ''Union'' dues for services not rendered. You all have a nice day.

From what I have been able to determine on the PGCA site, you don't have as many Parker friends as you think you do.

Don’t know which service Parker uses, but we waited for close to four months for Frontier to install and then trouble shoot cable et al. In our camp up in the Adirondacks. They finally worked out the kinks but without question the worst providers we ever dealt with.

Well Stan, how can you be sure. You can't get on the now Defunct ''Parker Site'', to check out any thing.

The Parker Gun Collectors site and forums are not defunct. To write that is just spreading disinformation. Read the initial post in this thread for the reason it is currently off-line.

Dear, sweet Harry: I've never stabbed "keith" in the back.

I've come right at him, head on, in public.

Harry, as a disinterested 3rd Party, in order:

No, no, and no.

...but I'm curious about your level of knowledge regarding duck's asses, and why you'd choose to capitalize "Duck's Ass." Is that a proper name for something in your life?

Gee whiz Joff, that sounds a lot like you trying to provoke reactions by using words that you wrote about the NRA, and attributing them to me in your signature line, i.e., spreading disinformation with every Post you make here...

.... something like we see coming from a Duck's Ass.

Geoff, since you are curious about a ''Ducks Ass''' I recommend You look into the nearest Mirror
and you will know what a ''Ducks ASS'' looks like. This is my final word on the subject !
You see there is a old saying, never argue with a drunk or a Liberal because they will drag you
down to their level, than ''Win'' with experience !
Dirty Harry

P.S. As far as the N.R.A. goes, they are the best gun rights group going. If it was not for them
all the Liberals on this site would not own guns. By the way, I am the N.R.A., I am a Life Member.

I agree with the feed back here but Dirty Harry makes a good point, if Parker will extend membership because site has been down for 3 weeks and counting. Many signed up and rely on the site for technical and historical information, listing guns and other things for sale and wtb etc. That service was paid for but not available and without any of the parker top brass posting any where that I know of, on what and why its happened and what parker intends to do to meet membership obligations that have lapsed .

See little harry.

I’d bet there’s not one PGCA member that would ask for or take money back.

I've talked with many members that are pissed but agree most won't ruffle feathers by asking what happened, recovery plans and how about membership extension for services paid for but not available.

Since I’m not a Parker member anymore I rarely look at the site. I will say that it does piss me off that you can’t look at the for sale page if not a member. I guess I’ll never get the one Parker I would like.

Annual membership is I believe $40.

Slightly less than $3.50 a month isn't worth finding the one Parker that you would like?

Go on Guns International, there are 438 Parker's listed for sale. And it's ''FREE''.
The Top seller of Parker Shotguns from the Parker Club sells his guns on Guns International.
Why spend $40 a year, and you don't even know who is getting that money, when there are so many other better options.

Dirty Harry

P.S. You can list your guns on this site and look at others for free. If you sell one , you owe Dave $12, a lot better than $40 a year in Parker Union Dues.
