i will engage here, at soon to be 77 i have ceased riding - still have a completely set-up 250 2t woods bike in my reloading room. and i still note it when i walk past, i live in a place with 100+ miles of legal woods & canyon trails...now walk my dog on those trails, but i still close my eyes and see myself riding. rode for close to 60 years, rode for transportation - i was 25 before i owned something with 4 wheels and roll-up windows - over 175k on pavement. i have ridden home with several guns bought at shows in new mexico, colorado, wyoming, back in the good old days.
gradually got more into dirt bikes and drifted away from street riding - and cellphones helped wean me from daily riding.
i have told many fellows that if they enjoy motorcycles, i'll bet they could learn to enjoy guns - and vice versa - they are both internal combustion devices. knew a guy from austin (40 years ago) who belonged to a loosely organized club: called the torque and recoil society, their business cards pictured both a rifle and a motorcycle.
