Tunnel hulls are tremendous boats. My son just sold his STV River Rocket. It would do 118 every day. They are so much easier to drive at speed than a Vee with a pad (like an Allison) that Allison drivers jokingly call tunnel hulls "boats with training wheels".

I've known guys who learned to drive an Allison then went to a tunnel hull. Most of them came back to Allisons saying tunnel hulls were boring.

I've run both. I love Allisons.

OBTW, 90+ mph boats and alcoholic drink are worse than guns and alcohol. IMHO
