Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. And your latest Post is nothing but more deception.
I noted within the "Down One" personal attack that you were still here and still Posting after you said Good-bye. You countered that you never said when you were leaving and I replied that was true, but you had said GOOD BYE, and made it sound as if you were leaving. You had told us in your first Post on 9/20/2016 "So here's my good-bye, and rant. The Forum is down one until (maybe) after the election. If someone has a specific question regarding Damascus barrels they can email me at revdoc2@[censored - come on man!].net or post on the LCSCA Forum (if Smith related) or Shotgun World." You didn't advise them to PM or Post any Damascus questions here on DGS-BBS. You closed by wishing everyone a wonderful bird season. Any reasonable person would take your words as meaning you were taking leave of this horrible forum and those of us your exceedingly thin skin could no longer tolerate. Members here obviously thought the same... that you were hiking up your skirt and leaving in a huff! A number of them wished you farewell, and Jim angrily replied to your personal attack on him.
Now why do you suppose your pals all wished you farewell if they thought you were going to still hang around and make more Posts? And from how brutal and grueling you made your upcoming journey into such a deadly dangerous place sound, do you think anyone thought you'd only be gone for a long weekend?
Then you quickly returned and made several more Posts in your sad emotional farewell Thread. You finally stopped 4 days after your initial farewell. But you were still logging in every day, and it was evident because the little smiley face next to your user name was lit up in yellow when you were logged in, and anyone who clicked on "Who's Online" in the left column could see your name in the list of member who were logged in. I thought it was hilarious, and noted you were peeking to see who was fawning over you.
Then, at long last, there was a period of 4 1/2 days when you didn't log in at all while you were apparently out of the country. I don't have those exact dates, because I never thought that you would still be trying to act like you were gone longer 10 years later. After you returned to Posting here, I mocked you for making that Drama Kween exit where you made it sound like you were bravely traveling on a long dangerous journey, but your actual absence from this forum was only 4 1/2 days... which is little more than a long weekend. I mentioned at the time that a neighbor had gone on a Mission trip to Africa, and was gone for many weeks. So I certainly did in fact acknowledge that you left... but only for 4 1/2 days, including travel time.
That little line you put in bold type: "and then remain right here" was from a different Thread, and it was clearly referring to the days during the "Down One" attack Thread when you were still logging on and still making Posts, even after your announced departure. I do remember your offer to make a donation to the NRA-ILA if I could prove you never left. And you know damn well I had replied that I had never said it because I knew you were gone for 4 1/2 days. Your hysteria and deceptive nature has you making up shit. But I'm not at all surprised to see you twisting the facts surrounding that incident, because you know... liar - liar - pants - on - fire.... you just can't help yourself.
I know this has been festering real bad Preacher. Probably causing agony and 360 degree involuntary head turning. Maybe even a triple axle head turn. But there is no excuse. Thou Shall Not Bear False Witness Against Thy Neighbor.
Oh wait, I'll bet you feel you have a "Get Out of Purgatory Free Card" since we're not neighbors. And besides that, from what we see of the character of many of your friends here, none of them will even care that you are deceptive.
