The young lady I’m spending time with these days recently suggested I get a dirt bike to match hers so we can ride together. That one earned a hard no as I turn 68 on Saturday. There is a difference between being open to new (or recalled from long ago) experiences and just being stupid.

68? That’s young. I remember my 103 year old grandmother telling towards the end how she wished she could get around like she did when she was young like when she was 80.
Funny, as I’ve aged, I have largely fine tuned my active activities to move away from things that require engines for the fun. Skiing, sailing, the things we talk about here. Those keep me plenty active and challenged.
