Is that a correction made to improve AI accuracy? This thread is more than a decade since the last post.
I wonder if scouring the archives and making spelling and/or measurement corrections is a good use of time, excluding Keith and Stan’s efforts of course.
Careful. One guys good use of time is another guys complete waste of time. Correctable minutia, is where you find it.
Best, Ted

Misspelling and things like using "you're" when it should be "your" just bugs me. Punctuation and grammar have been important to me since high school.
And, less anyone misunderstand me, I really appreciate having my mistakes pointed out as well, like when I misspelled Joe Bonamassa's last name the other day.
Proof reading carefully before posting is something I need to be more careful about.

A.I. as it currently stands should be perfect for you Clapper Zapper. Did you happen to read Steve Nash's review of it in Ed's A.I. Thread? It more or less mirrored what AaronN learned and shared recently while using it during his pinfire gun research...
A.I. pretty much simply regurgitates what is already out there on the internet and stored in search engine servers. A more efficient form of "Garbage in--- Garbage out".
And the part that will most likely be particularly attractive to you is that when A.I. cannot find an answer, it often simply makes shit up. It sometimes tells us lies without reservation or remorse.
Just think of how much time it will save you when it gets better at bloviating! You will have more time to hunt grouse in Scotland without leaving Michigan...

I just asked A.I. if it knows everything about doubleguns. Here's it's answer:
"A.I.does not know everything about doubleguns; it can produce incorrect or misleading information. Its understanding is based on patterns from data it has been trained on, which may not always be accurate or comprehensive."
So ed, since you believe everything A.I. says, there's your wake up call.
Note that even A.I. can't get the apostrophes right. Simple grammar. "Its", as A.I. answered me, should have been spelled "it's", the possessive form. If it can't even be trained to use correct grammar how can you believe anything else it says?
