Looking at that Isle of Man footage reminds me that there are aspects of being 25 I’m glad to have left behind. I made it out alive and for that I’m grateful

As for the benefits of dying a few decades earlier than need be with your boots on, I would prefer going out like the former president of our Vintager's chapter Bob Nikkel, active and healthy into his mid 80's, went to bed after diner with his wife with plans for the following day and never woke up. Seems like the perfect ending to me, not that we get to decide those things but the choices made along the way certainly influence your odds.

No moron, I don't think that I could have participated in the TT on the Isle of Man. I do think that life is a series of choices and risk management factors into your outcome in the long run. I hike and hunt our mountains around here, I don't snowboard or ski. I chase bird dogs across the prairie for an adrenaline rush, I don't jump out of perfectly good airplanes.
You don't need to run the TT to end up dead on a motorcycle either, last summer I nearly ran over and old coot about your age Ted, he had dumped his bike and was dead laying across the center-line.
You might consider talking to your Doctor, you are starting to show the signs of slipping. Reading comprehension certainly is not your strong spot as of late Gramps.
