I want to buy a leather unlined gunslip to use with a 30 inch barreled hammergun that is at least 54" in length. I want a gunslip that only opens only at the rear and buckles securely; and one that has a strap to carry the gunslip with gun encased over the shoulder.
Kind Regards; Stephen Howell

I've never seen an unlined gun slip, Stephen. Didn't know of such an animal.
Do you mean that it would have "naked" leather inside, with no padding or anything else at all?
May God bless America and those who defend her.

I actually "had" one exactly like you describe. But, someone saw it and wanted it more than I did so I parted with it for a few dollars. They are indeed few and far between!! Good luck with your search.

My buddy had one just as described made by a local saddle shop. Wasn’t cheap.

I have an unlined two gun "slip" as sold by Abercrombie and Fitch some years back. Two guns, not one, and no carrying strap. As I recall, these are sometimes made in one gun persuasion. I've never had one of them.

I have one I’d part with. It’s a two tone British tan in like new condition. It has a tag of a known maker, I feel like the name starts with an A? I’ll get pics later today or tomorrow.
Email is in my profile.

Well it’s not the perfect match I thought it was. My Brady soft case is canvas with leather trim and is only 48” to the fold in the flap.
Apologies for the misleading information

Help me understand why a gun with 30" barrels would require a 54" case. Most with barrels of that length will fit into a 48" case.
