Fitting picture here...

Well...I don't know Lonnie, I have largely replaced my old trucks with this unit for hauling everything (except dead animals). Driving it back and forth across these United States last week was quite informative. Rock steady at 85 MPH when crossing the Dakotas (common interstate speeds there are a bit frightful), incredible comfort and room, very intuitive handling & braking, good visibility, etc. but...it will nearly empty its full gas tank in 4-hours at those speeds (22.5 gallons). After driving fuel-sipping units for many years now, that requires a very different mindset (I almost got into trouble in the middle of nowhere on I-29 in South Dakota this past Saturday).

I got used to being fuel-conscious while living and working in SW Wyoming in the early 1980s. I further honed that skill while owning and driving several Chrysler muscle cars in my teens & middle 20s during college, but everything since has been quite practical (Civics, Volvos, Troopers, etc.). It seems that now I'll have to relearn that particular skill.

I had always missed the extra room and the comfort of these bigger vehicles, and this one has that in spades. No more econoboxes for this guy.
