I have star link and it is No Joke!
$350 from Cabela’s (I used some points to get it a little cheaper) and $85/mo. Haven’t found its limits.

Yeah... hard to beat. We use at work for a cross country mobile network. (California - Wiconsin- Florida- Texas- etc.) I have borrowed the unit during the offseason for home use... I live in an area with no wired options and not enough cell connectively to consistantly send a text message, phone calls from home are out of the question. The starlink works 100% everywhere we have tried it- as Bsteele says "Haven't found it's limits" location, speed, etc.
$85 a month is not a real price in my area. more like $120.

I had Starlink at $120/month. It was very good. It would buffer for a few seconds when streaming TV every afternoon/evening about 5-6 pm, but not really an issue. StarLink was fine until I had a flickering power issue that burned up my StarLink provided router. You CANNOT call and talk to a Starlink rep. You must have an active SL account where you go in and "chat" with an AI powered computer about your issue. It is terribly frustrating. They sent me a router that was incompatible with my existing SL system. I never could get it resolved. It was hair-pulling bad.
They had just run fiber optic by my house and offered it to me at a higher speed than my SL was, for $41/month. I cancelled the SL subscription, got fiber optic connected, have perfect service and streaming, and save $79/month. What's not to like?
Unless you can get SL for a lot less $$$$ than I could, I'd stay with Xfinity.
May God bless America and those who defend her.
