I post this as a heads-up. My Remington 541S misfired, and when I touched the bolt to recock it, it fired(X2). I removed the barreled action and immediately saw that a drift pin was protruding on the left side of the trigger group. Pushed back in, the issue was gone. On a light recoiling rifle, I don't know how this happens, but if you have one, it might be a good idea to check this annually. The issue with mine showed up after 50 years of use.

Maybe a tiny touch of Blue Loctite on the pin might avoid it ever moving and still allow it to be drifted out if need be.
