It's amusing to watch DimmyW concocting excuses for responding to my Posts while he claims to be IGNORING them.
What isn't amusing is seeing DimmyW posting falsehoods about the Brady Bill and Background Checks. It's this kind of stuff that got DimmyW permanently banned (shootered) from the INGO Forum.
Of course, the Brady Bill was signed into law by the extreme anti-gun Democrat Bill Clinton. It is true that it was promoted by Sarah and James Brady who were Republicans. Sarah Brady became a vehement anti-gun activist who founded Handgun Control Inc., and wished to ban handguns and enact Universal Background Checks, which is still a goal of Democrats.
The fact that a small minority of Republicans supported this or any anti-gun legislation is no excuse for any gun owner to support either them or anti-gun Democrats.
What DimmyW won't tell you is the numbers of Democrats that passed the Brady Bill in the House and Senate. 163 House Democrats voted for it, along with 47 Democrat Senators. Since that time, Democrat lawmakers have become even more united in supporting new anti-2nd Amendment laws.
In addition, the Brady Bill Background Checks would have done absolutely nothing to prevent John Hinckley from buying the gun he used to shoot Reagan and Jim Brady.
DimmyW is also Posting false information concerning the number of Americans who favor Background Checks, especially NRA Members who mostly oppose them. That is pure propaganda from anti-gun organizations.
The last part of DimmyW's Post went from a defense of Republican and Democrat anti-gunners to something totally incoherent. If anyone has an Idiot to English translator, I'd like to know what he was trying to say:
I hold no I'll favor for the actions of any Republicans. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. But I would like to see it in writing. Not useless blather. No lying, whining or bellyaching from anti-gun trolls can change the facts. And thank you for the emails people sent me. They kept me from reading the troll's lies.
Meanwhile, DimmyW's closet Democrat friend TransGomer Joff has been triggered again, and is reduced to counting the number of words in my Posts. "Birds of a feather... flock together"
