James “Canada Jim” canvasback,

How ‘bout those Canadiens, eh.

Ted,

You retire yet?

From the gun show thread…

“The Denver Fly Fishing show on the other hand chose to move to the Gaylord Center near DIA. Parking there is $15/day ($33 overnight) and hotel rooms start at around $400.”

Just sleep in your truck at the Walmart parking lot.

You know, Lonny, my opinion of Europe as a whole was that the gang tag was actually quite primitive compared to what could be seen right here in the good old US of A. Been there, done that, I guess. No plans to return.

July 8th, by the way. I expect that I’ll be picking up a shift or three a month until they find someone with a Journeyman level skill set. They understand it will be on my terms. I’m OK with that, for a bit.

Best,
Ted

You work for communists don’t you? What do you care if they find a replacement?

Bruh, you live in Minneapolis.

How’s the relocation search going? Have your spot in Mississippi picked out yet?

James must be out on the stump. No time for hockey I guess.

I work in an institutional commercial printing operation, that has pretty good customer service. We have to sell a percentage of print every month to the outside world, and keep them just as happy as our inside customers. If there are communists in the operation, I haven’t met them. We aren’t on campus, so the tattooed, screaming, pink haired ladies with bolts in their faces aren’t a feature of work.

There are many places we are looking at that look better then here (or, Detroit). I’ll let you know.

Best,
Ted

You post in a drunken stupor at 2:30AM, and spent Easter Sunday at a hockey game.

I'm thinking nobody here can help you.

I'm wondering what's wrong with spending Easter Sunday at a hockey game?

If there was one on Christmas I’d go to that one too.

‘Canes got smoked by the dastardly Quebecers.

Beats dragging your arse to that shyte union job at 6:00am. Stanley Cup watch party in Sarnia, Ontario, CA. There’s still a few old school Canadians in James’s failed freeloading state.

7:00AM-2:00PM at the U, home fries. 1/2 hour paid lunch, so, 6 1/2 hours. I’m top dog, so, I usually leave the OT for my coworkers. The only reason I can still throw 40” paper into a Heidelberg 82 at age 64 is that short, sweet, shift.

Now, that gig you had at UPS, I could understand how that sucked.

Best,
Ted

I spend Easter Sunday with a trip to church, and preparing a big meal for family and friends. There isn’t a sports event that can compare. In my world, anyway.
