I managed to get these pictures from a fellow looking for information

He is trying to identify it. In my limited knowledge I have only been able to tell him it is probably Belgian.

Steps for posting a photo. Here are my notes for JPBOX and IMGUR. IMGUR has changed its formate from time to time. I have to resort to the "old format" then an extra step after downloading. But anywhere here it is again:

Open a free account on IMGUR. then follow these directions:
1). Images
2). Post new
3) drag photo to new post square
4) go back to images
5) click on the photo
6) click the code button and post

JPGBOX instructios:

Sign into free JPGBOX.
1) Click on upload image from computer
2) Look at the titles on your desktop and select the image you want; click upload
3) Go to jpgbox and super copy the text that is displayed and post it on BBS

Well, the guy is as good a photographer as he is a gun owner…

But, at least he is asking questions, and I wish I had better answers… and better pictures… If he finds out what he has it may peak his interest in doubles and guns in general.

He didn’t provide pictures of the barrel flats. I’m wondering wha that mass of brazing material is and why it’s there.
