In recovery here today (and not for any big reason that I can remember). It's cool to cold, wet, foggy and overcast here today (for the 1st time in months) and I'm thinking it's a response to the barometer being so low. It can't be because I had so much fun over the weekend, can it?

Saw some lovely guns, had some spectacular shooting, consumed some truly-unusual foodstuffs (moose, javilina, pheasant, etc) sampled some incredible Tennessee moonshine (dangerously good, even a peach-flavored version) and had some memorable conversations with some like-minded souls. We had a speaker on the subject of engraving that was quite enlightening and we remembered some of our losses over the past year (the bittersweet part).

Can't wait for next year now.
