I'm not going to go out and buy a .410 just to make myself feel good about killing birds or breaking targets. And I'm not going to pay the added expense for .410 shells. I already have three reloaders going and I'd have to buy another one to reload .410 shells. For me it is more convenient just to use 12 gauge or 20 gauge and let it go. I have a 16 gauge Model 12 and I believe in 20 years I've used it one time. So for me - it is more convenient just to stick with a 12 or 20 depending on what I shoot. For that reason I've never had any interest in buying a .410. But good luck to those who do. As long as recoil doesn't bother me, I'll stick with the bigger guns.
