Keith has forgotten more about American double guns, particularly Lefever and LC Smith guns, than you will ever know. It’s too bad you haven’t noticed that fact, likely, because you haven’t bothered to read his posts.

The board has grown and continues to grow. I posted photos for a gent who just put up his first post. That being said, the whole double gun thing is not exactly a growth industry at the moment, and that includes interest in them. There were many guys who signed on the latest version of the board (you would have been simply mortified at what went on in the first version, when guys could comment anonymously) who were RETIRED in 2002, and here, 24 years later it is a better than good chance they are simply no longer here. I know at least one guy who was murdered, one who is developing dementia as we type, and another who is bedridden, and finds that being here just reminds him of what he is missing, and hasn’t been here in years. I don’t recall a posting looking for a cheerleader or manors coordinator, and, like it or not, because much has been discussed pertaining to double guns here, the subject matter does wander from time to time. Rather than shutting wandering topics down instantly, the owner does indulge us a bit, and perhaps locks or flushes them later.
My hat is off to him for that. Contrary to how miss manors would run the place, disagreements are vented. Just like real life.
I’m sure you have a notion on how the board should be run, and what the tone should be. Count me in the sub group who doesn’t give a rats ass, because it is enjoyable just the way it is.

There is more than one brand of childish behavior here. Deal with it. The guy who owns the place can decide what is acceptable.
