Of course you are. And with the same exact results as everyone else: Zero. I’m just telling the warmongers that they’re full of crap. Why? They aren't listening to you, and you'll never convince them you're correct. Go do something useful and good locally. There are a lot of Americans who think that it is not the role of the United States to go around toppling governments. So what? There's a lot of Americans that think a lot of things, many of them demonstrably wrong, much of the rest in opposition to other Americans.

I’m not yelling either, I’m just telling the warmongers that they’re full of crap. There are a lot of Americans who think that it is not the role of the United States to go around toppling governments. I wasn't replying to you. I know that's a leap for you to understand, but try. I was replying to Geoff, and he apparently understood that, even though we don't agree.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

And of course, we have the usual Liberal Left Democrats here also opposing Trump, and everything he does.
Notice them whining about past failures when we engaged in attempts at Regime Change. And notice that they never tell you the truth about why past efforts at Regime change went so badly.
The majority of Democrats in Congress pretended to be in favor of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, but then they worked to undermine Bush and the military. They couldn't stand the idea of Bush having a victory.
It was Democrat Barack Hussein Obama who ignored the advice from his military and rushed to pull all U.S. Troops out of Iraq, leaving a huge power vacuum to be filled by anti-U.S. Islamic terrorists.
And it was Democrat Joe Biden and his puppeteers who rushed the departure from Afghanistan, again against the advice of the Military, and leaving not only a power vacuum for the Taliban to fill, but also billions of dollars of U.S. weapons and equipment to be used against us. He even abandoned Baghram Air Base, which had huge strategic importance
Given half a chance, Democrats would screw this Iran action up too. Had Trump involved them in planning, it's almost certain some Democrats would have tipped off Iran's leaders, allowing them to escape and to hide weapons.
Biden and the Democrats even weakened the U.S. by draining our Strategic Oil Reserve, in order to artificially lower the fuel prices they increased, and help Democrats win in the mid-term election. They tried turning our Military into a Woke Joke of Transgenders and perverts that no adversary could take seriously.
Also notice that these same TDS Democrat supporters of anti-gun Democrats never had any problem with Biden's weakness enticing Putin to invade the Ukraine, or with Biden spending hundreds of billions of dollars to fund a Ukraine-Russia war that was going very badly.
And don't forget that several of these whiners frequently complain that political Threads drive folks away from this forum, yet here they are engaging in their usual Trump bashing and political commentary. They hate Trump, and they are no friend to those who cherish Gun Rights. The biggest phonies and hypocrites on the Internet!
Prayers for our Servicemen, and prayers for President Trump to have the strength and wisdom to finish this, and end another war. Oh Keith, please, don't try to confuse them with the facts when their mind is made up. I well remember when Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini returned to Persia. He and his descendants have been screaming death to America ever since...and probably before. I also remember a local "man on the street" interview where the fella said, "nuke 'em, take the oil" and another said, "can you say parking lot"? There was a lot of Iranians at the little local university and they got a permit to protest. They tried to block the entrance to the county court house and one of the major intersections downtown. I was on the police dept. at the time and our captain in charge had us open the sidewalk so folks could get to the court house and move them out of the intersection. It was a hot summer day and a couple protestors bought some galvanized garbage cans and filled them with water and brought them to the protest. The health dept. showed up and told them they couldn't drink out of garbage cans and made them pour it out. The way the permit was issued read that if one left the protest they couldn't return. A few hours in that hot summer sun and the protest had pretty well petered out. Generally they tried to make a nuisance of themselves but in that smallish town, at that time, we didn't put up with any nonsense or silliness. None of them were arrested or taken to jail but they knew better than to start something they knew we would finish. They've been spitting in our face for 47 years and frankly, I'm tired of it. Evidently now we have a leader who is equally tired of it and the military to take care of it. Back then we couldn't fly two helicopters across the desert. When I was in the Air Force we had a couple of the Iranian best we were supposed to train to work on aircraft. I hope the two yo-yo's in our flight got to work on Iranian aircraft because neither of them learned a darn thing. That was in Arizona and all they did was sit in the air conditioned flight shack. They didn't do spit and they didn't learn anything either. I know there's a lot of good Iranians but I sure never experienced any.

It's not only OK to disagree, it's one of the underlying strengths of our country. ...but we gotta be smart enough to not waste time arguing with people whose minds we'll never change. Far better to go have a reasonable conversation with with someone who hasn't made up their mind yet.

Far better to go have a reasonable conversation with with someone who hasn't made up their mind yet. Is there any proof or even anecdotes, about why your reasonable conversation is not worse, than bringing what divides into focus.

Leave it to Sunshine to focus on divisiveness. Keep it up and you will soon usurp Ted and take the title of King Curmudgeon from him. You're always good for a laugh Craig

....Oh, and the 1979 revolution against the Shah was internally generated.
He was widely hated as a fascist butcher. I can still remember the chanting.
Slather away. I knew a few DOD and State department workers that lived among the Iranian public with no fear or hesitation....in the Shaw's Iran.
