Iran has done terrorism through proxies for so long that they got quite good at it.... My first thought was if this was more a strike against those who fund agenda proxies and facilitate iranian petroleum sales. It's amazing that a few short years ago, brandon went hat in hand to maduro and these mullarutgers for oil, after he slashed domestic production and drained the strategic reserve.

[
Neville Chamberlain comes to mind.
Poor Neville. I'm not sure Neville Chamberlain had much of a choice, the British (and French) militaries were very unready for a war.
And after the bloodbath that was trench warfare in WWI, the French people had NO interest in another war with so many casualties.
I have become addicted to English hammered shotguns to the detriment of my wallet.

Waste of electrons, Chantry.
When all you have is a hammer, everything starts to look like a nail.
I’m sure we will find evidence of those weapons of mass destruction.

Why are we fighting in Iran? To install pro-Western government whos members will enact and execute policies favorable to our corporations and national interests or if that's not possible turn it into another Libya or Afghanistan.

Remarkable that 20,000 to 40,000 Iranians were slaughtered by their own government in the last month and the Democrats here and elsewhere still find fault. That they said nothing about the carnage taking place. Remarkable that 47 years of terrorism by proxy is well evidenced yet suspicion as to culpability still exists.
Remarkable that this predictable anti Trump commentary is done by those who so enthusiastically accuse the other side of partisanship. Have you not seen the countless street celabrations of of freed Iranians and freed Venezuelans? Does you anti Trump cynicism really run that deep that your own eyes won't accept what you can see plainly.

I’m sure we will find evidence of those weapons of mass destruction. Makes perfect sense CZ, moral of the story, don't look like a nail. Or, for some US regimes, don't send the message that the world is a shower, and the game is, who can bow.

Nah, it’s just another guy in the white house that wanted to play with the toys. Now that he’s had a taste, it will be tough to stop.
20 years from now, when the most recent set of misadventures are still stinking like garbage and sucking our coffers dry, all of you will be dead.
We really shouldn’t be in the business of decapitating legitimate foreign governments.
Just a paranoid old man in action. It’s easy to see why so many identify with him.
Out there doing it best I can.

Hard how see how you can call the mullahs that have been running Iran “legitimate” CZ. Or Maduro for that matter.
These weren’t governments selected and chosen by their people.
You can make the argument that it’s not the US’s job to put them out of power. But you can’t call them legitimate.

Lots of governments were created via a revolution.
Or are you forgetting?
Who are you to decide which ones are legitimate or not?
The government is legitimate when their representatives are recognized for the purposes of negotiation.
What goes on on the other side of the fence is the other guy’s problem.
We are throwing our weight around, because we can. And we’ll go along, thinking that we are immune to penalty, right up until somebody kicks us in the balls.
Out there doing it best I can.
