I figure this is about the best venue to dispose of a piece of Niedner history as any, so here goes!

It's a striker/bolt sleeve for the Hamburg Rifle. (Reference MPetrov via his seminal works for description of the rifle.) The item came from MPetrov's estate.

Included is a small .22 caliber lead bullet swage (nose pointer?) that also came from MPetrov's estate. I assume it's Niedner but it's not marked as such, so......

My time on this mortal coil now has a limit, so I'm channeling as much stuff as I can into the hands of people that know and appreciate it rather than consign it all to faceless auctions.
