Just being @ the elite, expensive SCI Nashville 2026 Event on Saturday, it was heavily attended w/ foot traffic thru the week and just a bit less on Saturday. We visited w/ Dig & Trigger @ Westley Richards where their books are closed for a time as they roll out about 2 dozen guns a year. Wait time is 4 years for a Bolt Platform and probably 10 years for a DR like it is @ Rigby. Few mechanics, crossover sourcing where you must take a number & most other orders are more important that yours. So older gentlemen were curious if they would live long enough to see their DR order filled??? Used guns are on a downward spiral giving more exposure to many that in the previous era could not think about being a custodian Hopefully this downward trend will have a benefit which is draggin' more folks into the abyss of weapons platforms from the >>Golden Age of Gunning<< as well as igniting a passion among the living.

Was able to visit w/ MattH @ John Dickson and my Boys & I were fortunate to put fingerprints on his 12 bore John Dickson utilizing the Purdey Thumb Underlever w/ a set of fantastic pattern welded tubes by MacNaughton.

And yes Argo44, Dig & I did use your name in vain a couple times..... Were you ears flush yesterday afternoon??

Hochachtungsvoll,

Raimey
