I'm wondering if American hammerguns are similarly affected these days? It's been quite the process to get this one sorted out. My original plans for it were as a fun clays gun but since I've replaced it with a much heavier version (my 32-inch doublebreach Ithaca NIG) it has become somewhat surplus to needs. D model 12-bore, 30-inch two bar damascus tubes with good thickness and clean bores, mod chokes in both, and w/a strong damascus pattern on them still, shallow pistol grip, good LOP (14 1/2?) and very shootable dimensions. Lots of visible repairs on the lower stock jaws but w/no obvious issues after several hundreds of rounds through it. Not terribly heavy, 7 3/4 lbs or so. Terry Nicholson went completely through it last year and it's now ready for another 125 years of service. You don't see these very often. $1,500 plus shipping and insurance to your FFL (sadly, not pre-1899). Contact me here if interested. Last edited by Lloyd3; 02/02/26 05:16 PM.
