So, if someone wins a raffle on one of the guns, can they take the gun home right then or do they have to have it shipped to an FFL to get it home?

Nice. What I'm wondering, after reading the above is, how do you acquire them that cheaply? If I'm understanding correctly, you would have had to buy some of those at no more than $400 each. Most are bought at auction.

Years ago, I was on the board for Pheasants Forever county chapter. i so badly wanted to do this, but could never convince anyone else to give it a try. We had a very large banquet.I think it was the biggest banquet of any chapter in the society most years. But I just could not generate the interest amongst the other board members. Nonetheless, we raised a ton of money and bought a lot of land.
Congrats on putting this together. That is a lot of work, and it is done very well. I hope you rake in a great profit. There was a little resistance with the rest of the committee at first, but I've been frustrated at the lack of real upland guns at our banquets for a long time - it was time to do something about it. We'll see how it works.

You men can buy all the tickets you can afford if you contact Geoff. RGS doesn’t discriminate on raffles. ...gotta be at the banquet to buy tickets, or bid on the guns, or in the case of the AyA No. 4 pre-banquet raffle, buy tickets directly from one of our committee members.

You don’t have the pre-banquet raffle ticket packages for sale? No early bird special two for one on the ticket packages? No Ladies early bird packages? Youth rafflies?
Geez, you advertise here, and then aren’t really making much of an effort to get these guys to send you money.
Everyone of these guys can afford a sponsor package. All you would have to do is put their name on their tickets and throw it in the bin for them. And no catering or venue costs.
Unless you guys are saying, “you must be present to win”. I’ve won so much stuff at RGS banquets, that I just give it back to them and tell them to auction it off again.
Heck, I’ve bought their nationwide raffle tickets for fancy guns 30 times.

I appreciate the feedback/input, but I'm not advertising here...I thought folks would find it interesting, and perhaps use it as inspiration to do similar for organizations they're involved in. if folks are within driving distance, and would like to come to the banquet, that'd be great: Buy Banquet Tickets HereWe have people coming from Iowa, MN, and MI. We have one Pre-dinner gun - the AyA No. 4...but state raffle and firearms laws preclude selling out of state or over the internet. Not that most people pay attention to those laws, but we do. The sponsor gun is one of the guns provided by Scheels - that can ship FFL to FFL...so if someone wanted to sign up for the Non-Attending Sponsor deal @ $250, we'd toss a ticket in the bin for that.
