I’m thinking I see a Churchill rib….
Best, Ted I think that's right, if I understand correctly what a Churchill rib is.

Ted doesn't miss much. I assume the tubes on this 20 are a bit shorter?

Nigel Brown, British Gunmakers Vol.2, has information and a list at pages 136 and 137. The Liverpool and Preston shops, up to 1916, kept separate number books for each branch. As a result, although numbers do not appear to have been duplicated they may have been a few years out of step. Post or PM me your serial number and I can look it up for you. I posted above “The Liverpool and Preston shops, up to 1916, kept separate number books for each branch. As a result, although numbers do not appear to have been duplicated they may have been a few years out of step.” ![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/8c/53/NJWeIubq_t.png) I discovered today, much to my surprise, that there is a gun from the Preston branch that has the identical serial number to mine above from the Liverpool shop. A sample of one (or is it 2 in this case?) does not prove much and this may have been an isolated duplication.
