Also, I found it amusing, and sort of a roll reversal, sort of, that most British gunmaking concerns are owned by Sheiks or Conglomerates that Sheik's monies....
Speaking of monetary units, for those that hunt in Argentina, the new Libertarian President has reduced their inflation from 300% to about 30%.

Just being @ the elite, expensive SCI Nashville 2026 Event on Saturday, it was heavily attended w/ foot traffic thru the week and just a bit less on Saturday. We visited w/ Dig & Trigger @ Westley Richards where their books are closed for a time as they roll out about 2 dozen guns a year. Wait time is 4 years for a Bolt Platform and probably 10 years for a DR like it is @ Rigby. Few mechanics, crossover sourcing where you must take a number & most other orders are more important that yours. So older gentlemen were curious if they would live long enough to see their DR order filled??? Used guns are on a downward spiral giving more exposure to many that in the previous era could not think about being a custodian Hopefully this downward trend will have a benefit which is draggin' more folks into the abyss of weapons platforms from the >>Golden Age of Gunning<< as well as igniting a passion among the living.
Was able to visit w/ MattH @ John Dickson and my Boys & I were fortunate to put fingerprints on his 12 bore John Dickson utilizing the Purdey Thumb Underlever w/ a set of fantastic pattern welded tubes by MacNaughton.
And yes Argo44, Dig & I did use your name in vain a couple times..... Were you ears flush yesterday afternoon??

Too, there were just about as many cans/suppressors as there were guns. If you intend to Hunt in Afrika or abroad, it is much cheaper to have you barrel threaded here(I believe) and purchase your can over there @ like 1/5 the cost. Dig gives that the Police ask him to use a can so he won't disturb the neighbourhood.
And I didn't know that Steve Barnett had moved to the West side of Mississippi.

I did feel a disturbance in the force last week. Thought it was a storm coming.
