Thanks. One can understand the supply-chain dynamics of the late 19th-early 20th century for barrel tubes and the American inspired factory products that came out of that era. But this is an 1859 damascus barrel stamped "LAC." Curious to know where it came from. . .or at least where the barrel blanks came from at the time.

And was the Enfield government factory really making their own barrels?
