if you like Husqvarnas [ and i do ] and you like unusual [ or weird] and i do, and you like 16 gauges [ and 20 gauge] here is one for you: ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/KaCXgLd.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/Kw3LCUz.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/ssgPTOH.jpg) 31 3/8" barrels both with 2 1/2" chambers. the 20 gauge is choked extra full and the 16 ga is cylinder bore. it actually shoots quite well with slugs in the 16 ga and with shot including buckshot in the 20 gauge. got it from an auction for $225. i was probably the only bidder as maybe no one believed the description. it has a flip up rear sight on the rib

Now that's something I've never seen.
The flip-up rear sight suggests that the 16 ga. barrel was intended for either slugs or shot. Perhaps something like a smoothbore Cape gun of sorts. Very interesting, and as you say... unusual.

That's a Gem, Fella. Any rifling @ all in the 20 bore side? And an unusual 80 cm tubeset length. Just a Great Snapshot in time.....

Is there a set trigger on the 20 bore side?

both barrels are smooth bore and no set trigger as i recall [ i am in montana right now and the gun is in alaska] . some of these supposedly had rifling in one tube, sometimes just straight rifling.
it is a neat gun and i couldnt resist at at that price.
i have only taken it hunting a few times. one of these times [ in montana ] a large whitetail doe was in my sights about 35 yards away, and i had the hammer back and ready.. then two '" young 'uns " ran up near her, happily chasing each other. maybe they were her offspring, so i just lowered the hammer and enjoyed watching them. i really am a softy. not gonna blast mama with them watching.

Just waiting on delivery. Should be Monday or Tuesday.
Came across a short barreled 310 AS in 16 gauge with absolutely stunning wood. A real anomaly. Had to buy it at $265 plus shipping. The seller is notoriously inaccurate in detail and has the barrels listed as 26" with open chokes. Could be 63 cm, could be 65 cm or could be cut. We will see on Monday. With a no questions asked return policy, it seemed worth the gamble. I've got my fingers crossed.
