Now that is a gem with what looks to be the as well as >>Galand Nose<< or „Fermeture Liègeoise“, but without the extractor rod out, it could be the ole „Purdey Nose“. Lovely wood & straight hand stock w/ Anson Pushrod forend w/ ejectors. A Money Makers Made in the late in the 1st Major Dissagreement in Europe up to 1923. I would actually bound in the early 1920s. Unique water-table lockup that looks to be adjustable?

![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/19/4c/qBxqq7lN_t.jpg) Appears the lug to water-table/action flats >>Crossbar<< might just be adjustable¿¿ ![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/0a/b8/H8VwEPfJ_t.jpg) Wears either the >>Galand Nose<< or „Fermeture Liègeoise“ or basic ole >>Purdey Nose<<. 70mm chambers ![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/67/d9/KJtwGqgV_t.jpg) Novel something in the water-table well contained in the crossbar. ![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/64/ab/MInalHMj_t.jpg) Hochachtungsvoll, Raimey rse

Well, as it turns out it actually is a Sheep in Wolf's clothing..... It is a Belgian Sourced Gesteck, or in the white, and finished in German with one of the most talented engravers from Suhl, Erhard Hohnbaum, providing the elegant, tap, tap, tap.
I will look @ the pin configuration and see what in Liége might match.

I didn't notice right off, but that Best Belgian Beauty Sidelock has a Bloody single trigger. ![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/53/17/VuumDVVR_t.jpg) ![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/3e/5c/dfi4l6v1_t.jpg) ![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/de/39/UMuNBO9M_t.jpg) Neat that the W. Förster 9 pin sidelock has his name in a banner on each sidepate we well as a >>Cocking Arrow<< on the tumbler. As I recall, Wilhlem Förster & Frantisek Faukner a Spoločnosť s ručením obmedzeným v Praze sourced Belgian Platforms to pad their bottom $. Forgeron probably filled most of their orders, but I will have to look. ![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/87/eb/6dKO3iIm_t.jpg) Just trying to compare/contrast the two forms of adornment. I have it on good authority that Hartmann & Weiss may have acquired the name of Wilhelm Förster or his >>stuff<<???
