buying and using are 2 different things.
my dad bought and owned the family car. i drove it. i didnt have to own it to drive it.
i was put on his insurance title.
if i smashed up the car, my dads insurance rates went up, not mine. he was responsible.
if kid takes whats not his, and kills someone, the father is responsible for not safeguarding the gun.
