Okay. I see it now. Harry, you stated originally that it was "not on the ATF 4473 form". That being banned occurs on a "Store Policy Form" --which there is no such thing to sign. Read what you said......... The store policy states that you will be banned from the store IF YOU LIE ON THE ATF form. BIG DIFFERENCE!! I was told on the phone by one store clerk even if you make a mistake-- "you can fight that". Their store policy also states you will be banned from the store for outlandish conduct such as racial slurs, drunkenness, ethnic insults to people, vulgar language, stealing, etc., etc. I read the same policy on a hospital room wall- 2 weeks ago giving a hospital the right to refuse to treat you in the future. So, that is pretty standard policy in today's world. Now think about it- the clerk takes my drivers license and writes down my name and license number. I write down my name, DOB, county I live in, answer a few yes/no questions then sign it and date it. You can ask the clerk what the date is. The questions are pretty much the same questions they have been asking for about 50 years. The clerk usually even tells me what to put down. I realize a person gets nervous. But, a person buying a gun should know those answers. But if you put down that you are buying the gun for yourself, and your son ends up shooting 10 students in school, it comes back on the store because you screwed up and "accidentally" said your were buying it for yourself. And they get sued. That clerk ends up in court being sued. If a person puts down that he is a citizen and he's not, the store is in trouble. That guy could have credit cards a driver's license and who knows what? I like to look at both sides of a story................. I remember I was 18 years old. I was filling out a form to buy a hunting license. The owner of the store was filling it out for me. He asked me my place of employment. I said I was in the military. He grabbed the form and ripped it up and said military people don't have to pay for a license. Scared the heck out of me. Ha-ha!! I have been pretty careful ever since. Sorry for the rant. You have a great week!!
