It looks like they did a great job with very fast turn-around. Very reasonable price too... more of an investment than an expense, for sure.
I didn't think you'd really need to bother with chasing or recutting any engraving if the job was done carefully. That one small spot near the opening lever on the right side isn't very noticeable, even though the photos are much larger than actual size.
Did Micro Weld just do the welding, or did they do the final dressing too?

Looks 500% better! Did you have to send the action to an engraver or did Micro Weld handle the whole project?

I just had micro weld weld up the dimples. I filed them down, and sanded the file marks out. That's all that was done.

You kept your files, stones, and abrasives off of the engraving, removed minimal material, and ended up doing a good job of matching the surface finish of the rest of the frame. Nice save!
